Two days of intense rider skills training with a focus on wilderness preparation, followed by a 2-day dual sport tour through Vermont. This will be a “minimalist-style” tour where we focus on making the most out of what we can pack on our motorbikes. Focus is on skills that every adventurer should possess. Demonstrations will discuss tools and materials motorcyclists would need when traveling remote areas.

Motorcycle Training & Wilderness Survival Skills
5-Day Ride-Out Lite
So, you hopped on the bandwagon and joined the adventure motorcycling clan. You purchased an adventure bike, taken an off-road motorcycle training or two, and have some experience camping.
But…. you have lingering questions about outfitting your bike and hesitancy when venturing into backcountry riding locations for a night or more because of the unexpected.
In the Ro5 Ride-Out Lite training you’ll get answers to these questions and more. You’ll build your confidence, learn self-reliant skills in the wilderness, enhance your riding ability and gain a clear understanding of what to do when things take an unexpected turn in the saddle. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
Welcome to the 5-Day Ride-Out Lite, we fill in the gaps where other trainings fall short.
Arrive in Ouray on Friday where we will all meet up and have dinner and drinks. Training will start Saturday morning at 9:00 and a meeting location will be chosen. The training grounds are a 5 minute ride outside of town. Our mornings on both days will be spent doing controlled exercises in an outdoor classroom setting. In the afternoon, we will take our training to the trails!
We will all be responsible for our own lodging and meals during this training. If you would like to tent camp, there are established campgrounds in the area and there is also a KOA just outside of town with all the amenities. If you don’t want to tent camp we can recommend lodging options.
